The storage unit itself is fine, no real complaints there, but the elevator, is what gets annoying. It feels like every other time I stop by, it’s either moving super slow or not working right at all. Trying to haul boxes around gets way harder than it should be, especially when you’re paying for the place every month. I asked the staff about it, and they were okay, but, nothing really seemed to change.

I waited a really long time to get help, and when someone finally responded, the answers were short and didn’t really solve anything. It felt like they were just trying to get through the conversation instead of actually helping me. it made me lose some trust in the service...

I had a frustrating experience with Extra Space billing. My payment actually went through, but my account still showed it as late, and then they charged me a late fee anyway. I called to get it sorted out and just got passed around, with nobody really explaining what happened. They kept saying it should update soon, but it never did. Something feels off when they’re that quick to charge fees but slow to fix an issue on their end. I definitely wouldn’t trust the online payment system again...

When I moved in, there weren’t any carts available, so I ended up having to carry everything myself. it was frustrating and made the whole move way more annoying than it needed to be.

Nothing felt sneaky. Setting up auto pay was simple too. So far, I’m happy with what I’m paying.

I rented a 10x10 unit through extraspace.com, and the size was pretty much what they said it would be. I was a little worried it might feel smaller once I saw it in person, but it ended up fitting my boxes, a small couch, and some garage stuff just fine. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the hallway was kind of tight when I was moving some of the bigger things in. It wasn’t a huge issue, just a little annoying in the moment. The unit itself matched the listing though, so I don’t really have any major complaints.

Every time I stopped by, the unit and hallways were clean. Like, I didn’t notice trash sitting around anywhere, i really appreciated that.

Parking was one of the biggest headaches for me. There were barely any spots available, and the loading area seemed to be blocked pretty much every time I needed to use it. I was already stressed trying to get all my stuff moved, and having to constantly figure out where to park or how to get things loaded just made the whole process feel way more difficult and annoying than it really needed to be.

Checked for the size I needed and they actually had it. That was a relief. A few of the units looked limited though. Not many left. So I just went ahead and booked it quick.

I liked that the emails showed up right away with the gate code and next steps, because I’m the kind of person who notices if even one little detail is missing. The instructions were clear, right down to what to do when I got there, so I didn’t need to call anyone, which was a big plus. Move-in went smoothly too. No issues so far...

I’ve been renting here for a few months, the gate has worked every single time I’ve come by, which is more than I can say for some other places that clearly don’t bother maintaining their stuff.
The keypad reads my code fast, with no random errors or making me stand there punching it in over and over like an idiot. It sounds like a small thing, but when I’m in a hurry, bad equipment is exactly the kind of nonsense that makes me mad.
I haven’t had any problems getting in or out, even at weird hours. I’m happy with it, mostly because whoever runs this place actually seems to handle basic maintenance instead of blaming customers when things don’t work.

I usually stop by Extra Space after work, and the access hours have been convenient for me. My location isn’t open 24/7, which would definitely be nicer, but most days I can still get in when I need to. Overall, it’s been easy to use and I haven’t had any major problems, so I’d say it’s been a solid choice for my storage needs...
