Extra Space is a real estate trust that is buying up mom and pop storage facilities all over the U.S. After they own a facility they immediately start jacking up the prices. If your late they hit you with huge fees and over 30 days late they immediately "foreclose" on your unit and even if the rent is paid they charge an exorbitant "foreclosure fee" of $120 or more on top of the late fees. With no legal restrictions they can do so without repercussions. I moved out as quick as I could and have recommended to some of my friends not to store anything with them.

The storage environment is very clean. Pleased with The customer service experience especially Marlon He is very helpful and knowledgeable. I feel that being a long time Customer that it should be considered when You decide to increase Our monthly rates.

The facility is great, the staff on Jefferson Rd jax fl is petty and lacks integrity. The bias treatment of customer and condescending treatment of them is the main reason why I WON'T be returning, I've been a customer of extraspace for 4 years. The staff target certain type of people over others and it's disgusting. On top of there lack of property maintenance. For short time use they're great place to store for long term use go elsewhere, they go up $30-$40 every 90 days without fail.

This is by far the best Extra Space Storage in Minnesota. Kitsha Fly is very helpful and knowledgeable about the whole storage process and does her job well. If you are looking to store your belongings in a great clean environment,this is the place!

This is a company that could not care less about people or their belongings stored in their facilities. They definitely crossed a line that should have never been crossed and did not need to be crossed in our case. They are scam artists and much worse. They do not care how they mistreat their customers. A manager at one site knew that a storage unit contained not only generations of sentimentals but evidence necessary to prove an assault. The manager, with the blessing of the higher ups, "disposed of" "trashed" as they told us, everything left that we could not get out in one day and asked for a few extra days. We paid thousands upon thousands over a period of yrs after fleeing a domestic situation; this manger knew everything about our situation and coldly and callously tossed out evidence that could have convicted a serial child predator. Now you know who you do business with if give your money to Extra Space Storage. This is NOT a company with any feelings toward humanity. Also, they were hit with a class action lawsuit in 2019 for "bait and switch" tactics. **WARNING! Do not trust this company.**

This business was so nice and answered my question and helped us to our unit that was clean and easy to get to

extra space in Lakeland Fl this is a horrible company with terrible customer service. The manager was very rude.
They went up $90 on my rent overnight. They will make you pay for days that you're not using their storage and threaten you with collections if you don't pay.

If I could rate zero stars I would. This place is the worse. I use the one on Belmont Ave, in Baltimore, and can I say that my rent has gone up $156 in less than a year! I guess they think that you won't move out-I will! And they have a gross late fee. It is a shame that customers are ripped off. I will be moving my things out of my unit.
I cannot get anyone to answer the phone, and corporate does not care either as they do not respond. Bottom line... I am not paying $555 for a storage unit that started at $379 a year ago. That is more than a car payment!
This company tricks you into thinking you have a deal and every few months they raise the unit rent by about 80%. It is ludicris. DO NOT RENT HERE!

Everyone here at the Hawaiian Gardens location was awesome! We were only here for a month, but they were super helpful answering all of our questions and addressing our concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Excellent 10 out of 10 service.

They jack up rates every 3-4 months. Started at 46$ paid 4 months then after that 4th payment my new rate became 87$.

ZERO STARS!! if I could do Zero Stars I would. BAIT and SWITCH pricing is Awful! Don't RENT here! individual employees are great. Corporate policy is TERRIBLE. Run don't Walk from this place. WHO wants to move TWICE? No One Ever! But with an $80 increase after only 4 months??? and a "Don't Care" attitude! Just WRONG.

Beware! Brian the Manager and his Wife are Thieves. They live onsite and monitor your every move. They watch your unit then they create fake accounts with fake addresses and blame these accounts for breaking into your unit. Corporate does not care that they have unethical people employed. And the insurance company is a joke. They also work with them. If you have no proof of actual break to your lock..your loss. They didn't care to even investigate. I filed a police report, and the detective told me it was an inside job, unfortunately because the "cameras" which was all of a sudden was turned upside down and didn't show down the hallway, they can't take the next step. But Karma will come for them!!!!

Was overcharged by both stores 3000 and 7348. Both managers stated that they did not know how to fix the problem and for me, well, too bad!

Tried to speak with District manager, Brittney, but her mailbox was full!

The whole organization is skewed to screw the customer.

I cannot say enough bad things about this con game.

This is a horrible company and the people that run it are nasty and mean. Be aware, your things will get stolen if you rent from this company and they will do nothing to help you. They do not care about customers or their things, they only care about taking your money.

Approximately 7 years ago I moved to Florida.I put my 1980 450 SL Mercedes in their storage unit with other belongings.I found out that they entered my unit without my permission and took my car out of the unit.They left it in the Florida sun.It ruin the paint.Once I found out corporate told the manager for me to report it to my own insurance company.I did not want because my insurance would increase my rate.Anyway,I was leaving the country and had to go.Now after all these years and paying over $400 per month I went to see my car.The unit was full of rat $#*! and some brown stuff dropped on the car.I took the car out and had it washed.Then I saw the damage on the car that happen about seven years ago.I ended up moving my stuff out.I also contacted them and again know help.The company is based in Utah which means most likely only think of money.Do not rent from them.If you do will regret it.
